Jubal Partridge

Services for Jubal L. Partridge, 49, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at his residence, will be 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Partridge was born March 6, 1957, in Amite County, the son of Willard Lee and Camille Havard Partridge. He graduated in 1975 from South Natchez High School. He served in the United States Navy for six years aboard the Robert E. Lee Submarine. Following his military service, he worked as an industrial engineer for International Paper Company until their closing. He was a very friendly and loving person who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and North American Hunting Club. He was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, William T. Partridge and Allyne Coley Partridge; maternal grandparents, William Lee Havard and Addie Reeves Havard; two brothers, Sgt. Todd Partridge and Infant Timothy C. Partridge.

Survivors include his mother, Camille Havard McKinney of Natchez; sister, Darlene Moon of Vidalia; nephews, Derek Moon and Chris Moon; nieces, Kelsee Partridge and Kymberlee Partridge, all of Vidalia; sister-in-law, Rhonda Partridge of Vidalia; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Derek Moon, Chris Moon, Joe Partridge, Duffy Guillory, Walter Havard Jr. and Eddie Havard.
