Services for Laverne Cothren Stroud, 74, of Meadville, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Siloam Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home, Meadville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Stroud was born March 17, 1932, in Franklin County, the daughter of Lon Cothren and Elma Murray Cothren. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James V. Stroud.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Lester Stroud of Meadville; and sisters-in-law, Billie Rose Stroud and Alice Stroud Nixon, all of Meadville.
