The Huntington Hounds closed out the regular season with a rousing victory at Chamberlain-Hunt Thursday night.
The top-ranked Hounds improved to 26-3 on the season as Antonio Jordan led four Huntington players in double figures with 19 points. Trey Corbett and Stan Hazlip each scored 13 and Kyle Holzhalb added 11.
The Hounds jumped out to a 23-10 lead after one quarter and pushed the lead to 17 points by halftime.
The second half saw more of the same, as the Hounds continued to dominate, holding Chamberlain-Hunt to just five points in the final quarter.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at Huntington, but a leaky roof at Chamberlain-Hunt’s gym earlier this season forced the first meeting of the two teams to be moved to Huntington.
The Hounds will open as a top seed next week at South State, which they will host.

With the win, WCCA will now meet Chamberlain-Hunt tonight in Tensas to determine the third and fourth seeds at South State next week at Huntington.
