America’s policy with N. Korea is failing

Since 1985 Russia and now the gullible USA have given the poor communist dictatorship of North Korea hundreds of millions of tax dollars if they will stop developing nuclear weapons.
There has been no evidence they have been honest or even stopped their nuclear development for a month, much less for years. The dictator jukes, jives, lies and knows the USA now (300 million from Clinton to stop was one payment), more than ever, will not go to the mat to guarantee no nukes for nuts.
Now they have just done the Lucy with the football trick again. This time its lots of free fuel oil as a first step if (ha, ha) they stop developing nucs.
Well, that makes Iran and North Korea firmly in the nukes for nuts program — wide open throttle. Does history teach politicians anything?
What did Reagan say? “Trust but verify!” Others say, “Trust and pay and pay.” It doesn’t work.
