Services for Linda Wilson, 60, of Clayton, who died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, in Clayton, after a lengthy illness, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptsist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Ron Ledford officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 8, 1946, in Morehouse Parish, the daughter of Anne and Bill Caffrey. She and her family moved to Ferriday for work. She graduated Ferriday High School and married Roy Wilson in 1965. They made their home in Ferriday, and later moved to Clayton.
Mrs. Wilson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Roy Wilson of Clayton; two sons, Shannon Wilson and wife, Christy, of Clayton and Dereck Wilson and wife, Vickie of Ridgecrest; six grandchildren, Macey, Anna and Madison Wilson, Hannah, Jackie and James Denny; and one great-grandchild, Lelan Bass.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
