Tom Holman, director of the Behavioral Health Unit at Natchez Regional Medical Center, was recently named to the board of directors of the Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Mississippi chapter is a strong statewide affiliate of the national Alzheimer’s Association, the largest non profit organization dedicated to supporting families and professionals and working to find effective treatments and a cure for Alzheimer’s.

There are over 80 chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association throughout the nation.

A local Alzheimer’s Support group was formed several months ago under the leadership of Holman and his staff at the Behavioral Health Unit. The group meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Natchez Regional
