Lutery O’Neal

Services for Lutery O’Neal, 51, of Ferriday, who died Friday, March 2, 2007, at his residence, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee A. Martin officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. O’Neal was born Aug. 25, 1955, in Ferriday, the son of the Rev. L. T. McClain and Janie O’Neal McClain.

He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. L. T. McClain; and brother, Eddie O’Neal.

Survivors include his mother, Janie O’Neal McClain of Ferriday; brothers, Herman O’Neal and wife, Sharon, and George O’Neal, all of Ferriday and Hilton O’Neal and wife, Angela, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Scharline Brown of Ferriday; aunts, Willie O’Neal Montgomery and Jessie Simms, both of Ferriday, and Lizzie Powell of Clayton; uncle, Joseph O’Neal of Baton Rouge; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
