Nine days before they meet in the District 3-1A opener, LaSalle and Block went up against each other Saturday afternoon at the LaSalle/Caldwell Parish Round Robin.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be a one-sided game as the Tigers cruised to a 12-run win over the Bears in just five innings. Block fell to 5-8 with the loss.

“We walked 14 and made seven errors,” Block head coach Scott Green said. “Twelve of their 17 runs got by either by a walk or by an error.”
