Narcotics task force apprehends four

The Concordia Narcotics Task Force arrested three men and one woman Thursday after allegedly finding assorted weapons and illegal narcotics at 113 and 118 Lee St., near Ferriday.
“This was another excellent job by the Narcotics Task Force,” Sheriff Randy Maxwell said in a statement Friday.
According to the statement, Maxwell also expressed appreciation to area residents who reported the alleged drug activity in their neighborhood to CPSO.
Those arrested and their charges include:
– Mitchell A. Kenny, 22, 118 Lee St., Ferriday, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II drugs, carrying weapons and drugs, improper supervision of a minor child, possession of schedule IV drugs and attempted bribery. Bond was set in Seventh District Court, Friday, at $222,500.
– Craig B. Guillory, 24, 274 Providence Road, Waterproof, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II drugs.
Bond was set at $32,500.
Judge Kathy Johnson additionally ordered Guillory to serve three days in jail for contempt of court.
– Ken A. Kenny, 43, 118 Lee St., Ferriday, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of an open container law. Bond was set at $1,303.
– Stacia Ann Mulvihill, 22, 1615 Camellia St., Vidalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying weapons with drugs, improper supervision of a minor child, and possession of schedule IV drugs.
Bond was set in Seventh District Court at $142,500.
Mitchell Kenny reportedly had nearly $2,000 in cash on his person at the time of the arrest, and crystal methamphetamine and Xanax were reportedly in his vehicle.
Assorted drugs were found in both homes, some reportedly within reach of a small child.
Kenny also allegedly attempted to bribe a task force officer, stating that he would pay the officer any amount of money if he would just throw the drugs away.
Ada E. Kenny, 38, 1167 Pecan Ave., Ferriday, arrived at the scene during the arrests and was picked up on a bench warrant for failure to appear in Seventh District Court in May 2006.
