Anka Cannon has joined the professional staff of Silas Simmons, LLP. Cannon earned her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi in 2005 and Master of Accountancy degree in 2006. While at Ole Miss, Cannon was on the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Honor Rolls. She has participated as a volunteer in the post-Katrina Gulf Coast clean up effort and has been a weekend volunteer at a free health clinic in Philadelphia. Cannon is the daughter of Dr. Hilton and Paulette Fairchild of Philadelphia, and the late Jerry W. Cannon of Flora. Silas Simmons, LLP, is a CPA firm serving the Miss-Lou area since 1932.
