Despite The Democrat’s admonishment to “play nice,” some have chosen to darken the political waters and start slinging mud.

A slanderous flier has begun circulating that is both shameful and divisive to our community.

I am very disappointed that someone would choose to exercise their First Amendment rights in such a un-American and indefensible manner.

Mud-slinging and misrepresentation are the very reasons people are sick of politics. If the real issues cease to provide worthy discussion, then you are not interested in government … just gossip. And that creates jobs, how?
