Services for George E. Fedrick, 62, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, March 22, 2007, will be held 4 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Fedrick was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Alexandria, the son of George E. Schwarzman and Frances Fedrick. He was a great dad, coach and friend, who was saved by the grace of God through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. He was a resident of Ferriday. He was retired from Armstrong Tire and Rubbber Company, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Ward Fedrick and wife, Tara, of San Diego, Calif. and Anthony Edward Fedrick and wife, Cindy, of Grandview, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Tyler, Katelynn, Kyla, Ciara, Jacqulynn and Myranda.

Pallbearers will be Velch Denny, J.D. Denny, David Parris, William Denny, Anthony Fedrick, Timothy Fedrick, John D. Young Sr. and Joe Webber.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Sibley, Johnny Taylor, James King and Johnny Fudicker.
