A memorial service for Louise Everett Waggonner Logan, 82, of Florence, who died Tuesday, March 20,2007, at her daughter’s home in Hendersonville, N.C., after extended illness, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Wesleyanna Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 7, 1924, to the late Joe and Berta Everett. Louise was preceded in death by husbands M.E. Waggonner and Ray Logan.

Retired in 1986, Louise worked as a dental assistant for almost 20 years for her brother, Joel Everett, DDS, in Richland. For some years prior, she worked as a medical lab technician in Natchez. Louise was an accomplished seamstress and quilter, skilled in crochet, knitting and needlepoint, as well as an avid flower gardener. She was an active member of the Florence Seventh-Day Adventist Church for most of her years. Louise was a dedicated Christian and loving mother. She lived a life of frugality and self-sacrifice, with much of her meager earnings going to the educate her children in Christian schools. The memory of her gentle and soft-spoken manner will be treasured always by those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Dr. Mark Waggonner and his wife, Susan, both of Grand Terrace, Calif.; daughters Joan Costerisan and her husband Frank, both of Hendersonville, N.C., and Jeni Edmondson, and her husband, Billy, both of McEwen, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Johnathan Waggonner, Jill Szymanski, Dr. David Waggonner and Matthew Edmondson; sister Joan Crowder and her husband, Amos, of Inmann, S.C., four brothers, Dr. Ed Everrett of Riddle, Ore., Dr. Burton Everrett and his wife Darlene, both of Aztec., N.M., Dr. Joel Everett and his wife, Mary, both of Dunlap, Tenn., and Blanton Everett and his wife, Beryl of Remlap, Ala., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
