Services for Ida Mae Lucas, 70, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Jackson, will be noon today at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Pastor James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Curtis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Lucas was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Adams County, the daughter of Mose Cotton and Carrie Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George Foster; and her grandmother, Ruth Curtis.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Taylor and Mary Ann James, both of Natchez; brothers, Joe Foster and wife, Angela, and Michael Foster, all of New Orleans; sister, Geneva Nuchurch, of Tuson, Ariz.; aunt, Geneva Harris of New Orleans; grandchildren, Israel Calvit, Lee Calvit and Jahada Taylor, all of Natchez; goddaughter, Briana Gilmore and godson, Gaden Jefferson, both of Natchez; a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
