Prison would provide new jobs, money

I was absolutely floored recently when reading about the proposed prison being built in Adams County.
What floored me was one of the questions asked about the prison.
It wasn’t “how many jobs will it provide?” or “when will construction start?.”
The question was “What will it look like?”
I would like to share with you what it will look like to me.
It will look like jobs to a town desperately in need of them. It will look like money in the bank to new employees. It will look like tax money paid to the county. It will look like a county trying to grow and provide incomes for families and young people wanting to stay in this area.
It will look like a positive step for Adams County.
