Services for Frenchie Allen, 82, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Natchez Adams County Nursing Center, were held 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at Webb Funeral System Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Evans officiating.

Burial followed at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral System.

Mr. Allen was born March 25, 1925, in Monroe, La. He attended Monroe Public School. He retired as an independent hardwood floor finisher. He enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Jones Allen; and stepdaughter, Susie Polk.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Milton “Buck” Jones, Elliott Ray Jones, Mary Griffin and Addie Hawkins, all of California, Leroy Jones of Georgia, Rose Jones and Caleb Jones, both of Natchez, and Annette Holt of Ohio.

Pallbearers were friends of the family.
