Larduffree Netterville

Services for Larduffree Netterville, 60, of Natchez formerly of New Orleans, who died Monday, April 2, 2007, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New St. John Christian Church, 5 Morgantown Road, Natchez, with Elder Freddie Dawson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of R.D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Netterville was born Nov. 22, 1946, in Mississippi, the son of Anna Lene Longs and Newrn Netterville.

He was a former welder with the Marine Corpation of New Orleans and was a deacon of the New St. John Christian Church.

Survivors include a devoted, loving lifelong companion and wife, Brenda McGee of Natchez; son, Christopher McGee and wife, Irene of Fort Polk, La.; mother, Anna Lene Longs of New Orleans; brothers, Samuel Longs, Thomas E. Netterville and Leonard L. Netterville, all of New Orleans and Silas L. Netterville and his wife, Willie Mae of Woodville; sisters, Yvonne Lee of Detroit, Mich., Georgia E. Williams and Leguster Alexander, both of New Orleans; grandchildren, Christopher McGee and Breania McGee, both of Fort Polk, La. and Tyler McGee of Columbus, Ga.; aunts, Betsy Stewart and Georgia H. Longs, of Baton Rouge and Carrie Jackson of Woodville; one uncle, Leonard Longs Jr. of Houston, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Joshua N. Alexander, Johnny Alexander, Anthony Wells, Thomas E. Netterville, Samuel Longs and Silas L. Netterville.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Longs, Robert Smith, Jetterson Phipps and Henry Phipps.
