Services for Jack Lowery, 71, of Vidalia, who died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Glen Harrigill officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Lowery was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Springerton, Ill., the son of Merle and Beulah Beatrice York Lowery. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Vidalia.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Lowery of Vidalia; children, Tricia Taylor of Cedar Park, Texas, Cheryl Mulvihill , Andy Sloan and Steve Sloan, all of Vidalia; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara LeBlanc of Montgomery, Texas; and special friend, Larry Barnes of Vidalia.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Naff, Duran Sloan, Seth Sloan, Billy Kimball, Chris McCurdy, and Dexter Morace.
