Harold E. Sandifer Jr., 71, of Folsom, La., died Friday, April 13, 2007, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was a loving husband and father and was always devoted to his family. He loved to travel while serving as a computer programmer for 45 years. He worked for Eastern Airlines, American Airlines, and Tiburon Company. His last employer was Venture Trucking in Lafayette.

Mr. Sandifer was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Beulah Sandifer.

Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Linda Lee Sandifer of Folsom; son, Jeffrey Ross Sandifer and wife, Michele, of Naples, Fla.; daughter, Leslie Sandifer Fairbanks of Natchez; brothers, Jerry Jessie Sandifer of Madisonville, La. and Verdon Thomas Sandifer and wife, Patsy J., of Enon, La.; grandchildren, Emily Rose and Jesse Caleb Sandifer, Tess Marie, John Lee and Luke Carey Fairbanks; nieces and nephews, Virginia and Bradley Sandifer and Ronald Keith and Kelly Sandifer; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
