Services for Cora L. Marsaw, 82, of Vidalia, who died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Dallas, Texas, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ, Sibley, with Elder Elisha Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow at Laureland Funeral Home, in Dallas, under the direction of Sacred Funeral Home, Dallas.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Murray Temple Church Of God In Christ, Perrault Street.
Mrs. Marsaw was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Adams County, the daughter of Anita Carter and Miles Bailey. She was a beautician and a housewife. She attended Rehoboth Church of God In Christ Pentecostal, Holiness. She enjoyed traveling and working in the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Johnnie Lee Marsaw Sr.
Survivors include her children, Johnny L. Marsaw Jr., Cleotha Marsaw, Hazel R. Roberts, Willie L. Marsaw, Leonard S. Marsaw and wife, Joyce, Ronnie Hendrix, Dr. Cora A. Marsaw, Attorney Terry Marsaw, and Dr. Belinda D. Smith Marsaw and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Troy Marsaw and wife, Feloniece, and Carla Marsaw, who she raised, 30 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Martha Mary Mitchell and Dorothy Camper; a number of nieces and nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Troy L. Marsaw, Brandon Smith, Terry King, Keith Bush, Greg Bingham and Greg Brown.
