JackFest to raise funds for autism

VIDALIA — Area residents will have an opportunity to have fun while helping a local child Sunday at 2 p.m.
JackFest will be at the Vidalia Amphitheater to raise funds so that two-year-old Jack Mulvihill can continue autism therapy.
Mulvihill has been unable to continue in therapy because his therapist — the only one in the area certified for autism therapy — stopped taking Louisiana Medicaid.
Musicians will perform throughout the event, and there will be old-fashioned games, a cake walk and a dunking booth. There will also be a raffle.
Admission to the event is free.
Children with special needs, as well as their parents and siblings, will not be charged to participate in the games.
Local talent is welcome to participate. A public address system will be provided.
