JONESVILLE — Services for Barbara Jean Farris, 57, of Jonesville, who died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center West Monroe, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Utility Baptist Church with Bro. James Foster officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Farris was born Oct. 8, 1949, in Harrisburg, Ark., the daughter of Henry Clay King and Juanita Lucas King. She was a member of Utility Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Albert “Lee” Farris and wife, Christy, of Monterey; her daughter, Karen Elizabeth Farris of Alexandria; sister, Kathy Lee Branyon of Jonesboro, Ark.; companion, Larry Wallace of Jonesville; grandsons, Wedon “Hunter” Atkins and Blake Thomas Farris; granddaughters, Krystal Leana Atkins, Vanna Elizabeth Atkins, and Bailey Renee Farris.

Pallbearers will be Terry Gann, Hunter Atkins, Richard Thompson, Ray Crooks and J. R. Griffing.

Honorary pallbearers will be Louise Crooks and Diane Reeves.
