VIDALIA — Services for Joyce “Jo” Roberts, 62, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, in Alexandria, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sycamore Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Cullum and Diane Woodall officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.

Ms. Roberts was born Dec. 12, 1944, in Natchez, the daughter of Henry L. Roberts and Annie B. Roberts. She was a resident of Vidalia and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She was a special Mom, “Nana” and Sister, who will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie Aswell and Vera Roberts; and brothers, Donald J. Roberts and Jerry D. Roberts.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Nations and husband, Michael, of Silver Creek and Tina Warshaw and husband, Stephen, of Vidalia; grandchildren, Annie E. and Kyle W. Nations of Silver Creek and friends Brittany Smith, Corey Schilling, JoAnna L. and Brandon Warshaw of Vidalia and friends Candice, Lamyra, Morgan, Chancery and Keiosha; sisters, Linda King and husband, Don, of Monicello, Annette Lewis and husband, Robert, of Natchez, Fannie Taylor and husband, Bill, of Bogalusa, Nita Vines and husband, Monette, of Woodville, Earline Gray, Patricia Callender, and Betty Hoofman and husband, Randy, all of Vicksburg; brothers, Henry B. “Sonny” Roberts of Ferriday, Charles E. “Lee” Roberts and wife, Barbara, of Vidalia and Joy Bubba Roberts and wife, Charlotte, of Natchez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Doug Warshaw, Charles Ables, Darrell Roberts, Michael Lewis, Don King, John Simpson and Carl Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie King, Rusty Norton, Blake Barlow and Seth Barlow.
