I wonder what the local officials intend to do with the new found money that Mr. Vines paid back.

Is it money that they didn’t know they had? Was it in their budgets? It would be nice if it could be used to repave some of the streets in Natchez. Start with Canal Street at Rosalie, then Aldrich Street by Cathedral School, Woodlawn, Broadway, Melrose Avenue, St. Catherine and Homochitto streets that lead into the city to name a few. Think about it. We could all benefit by it.
