Services for Eva Allen Blair, 78, of Zachary, who died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Lane Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Charlet Funeral Home with the Rev. Reggie Bridges officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Norwood, under the direction of Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allen was born in MacDoel, Calif., the daughter of Stanley John Allen and Frida Martin Allen. She graduated from Butte Valley High in Dorris, Calif. She was a member of Zachary First Baptist Church, Prime Timers and a member of Faith Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Odas O. Blair; daughter, Dianne James; and her parents.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Anderson of Baker; sons, Bob Blair and wife, Hilda Lofton Blair, both of Natchez, Steven Blair and wife, Vickie, of Clarksville, Tenn., Robert Blair and wife, Charlotte Williamson Blair, both of Praireville; grandchildren, Michael Blair, Holly Mansingh, Nathan B. Cain II, Amanda Smith, John Anderson Jr., Chastidy Blair, Amy Lynn Blair and Lizzy Faye Blair; and 13 great-grandchildren.
