The First Saturday Gospel Music Fest will be hosted at Cornerstone Church in Vidalia at 6 p.m. Sunday.

The featured group will be Shepherd’s Call Quartet.

The group is a four-part harmony southern gospel quartet and is well-known at area churches, festivals andgospel singing events in the south Mississippi and Central Louisiana areas.

The group consists of lead singer Philip Hembry, tenor Darrell Boyd, baritone Jeff Taylor and bass Greg Smith.

The group performed at the Januray meeting of the Fest and are returning by popular audience demand.

Since January, they have added the song “Scars in the Hands of Jesus” to their presentation.

First Saturday Gospel Music Fest is an area ministry where attendance and participation by everyone, regardless of church affiliation, is encouraged.
