Clementine Larkin

BROOKHAVEN — Services for Clementine Smith Larkin, 84, of Natchez, formerly of Brookhaven, who died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Larkin was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Lincoln County, the daughter of Dorsh Smith and Pansy Summers Smith. She was a retired teacher of 29 years with Brookhaven School System. Mrs. Larkin was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookhaven and a member of WMU at the church. She was also a member of the Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. “Bill” Larkin Sr.; and her parents.

Survivors include her son, Dr. W. B. “Bill” Larkin and wife, Mary Kathryn, both of Bude; her daughter, Barbara Buckles and husband, Bennie, both of Natchez; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
