Clarence Paul

HARRISONBURG — Services for Clarence Malcolm Paul, 72, of Harrisonburg, who died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. today at Harrisonburg First Baptist Church with the Revs. Joey Paul and Thomy Green officiating.
Burial will follow at Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Mr. Paul was born April 18, 1935, in Nebo, La., the son of James Lucius Paul and Ellie Paul. Mr. Paul was an educator and a member of the Harrisonburg First Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence, Homer, Philip and Milton Paul; and sisters, Era Hailey and Hazel Abbott.
Survivors include his wife, Una Stutson Paul of Harrisonburg; daughter, Gwile Paul Freeman and husband, David, of Harrisonburg; brothers, Martin Paul and Hardy Paul; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jon Dew, Hal Lambert, Jimmy Lambert, Gordon Paul, James Paul, Jeffery Paul, Louis Paul, and Ralph Stutson Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Men’s I Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church of Harrisonburg.
