Natchez Track Club takes first place 10 times

NATCHEZ — The Natchez Track Club participated in the Faith Invitational USATF Track Classic in Baton Rouge, last Sunday and came home with a total of 10 first-place medals.
In intermediate girls competition, Alicia Wimley had two first-place finishes. She won the 400 meters in a time of 59.80 seconds and the 200 meters in a time of 25.20 seconds.
In the youth group, Philicia Wimley won the 100 meters in a time of 15.08 seconds and the 200 meters in 32.16 seconds.
In the young women’s group, Jessica Gails had three first-place finishes. She won the 100 meters in 13.08 seconds, the 200 meters in the 26.42 seconds, and the 400 meters in 1:02 minutes.
In the bantam group, Anthony Jones had three-finishes to his credit. He won the 100 meters in 15.03 seconds, the 200 meters in 31.01 seconds, and the 400 meters in 1:30.1 minutes.
