ST. JOSEPH — Services for Lorris Lewis Sr., 75, of St. Joseph, who died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Tensas Nursing Home, in Newellton, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Gold Bell Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lee Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow Panola Cemetery, in St. Joseph, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Lewis was born Feb. 13, 1932, in St. Joseph, the son Dave and Rosie Brown Lewis. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Celia Clark Lewis, of St. Joseph; his sons, Willie Cooper of Baton Rouge, John Lewis and wife, Loretta, of St. Joseph, Floyd Lewis and wife, Sherry, of Chicago, and Lorris Lewis Jr. of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Lucinda Cahn and Edna Watson of Houston, Texas, Sarah Dennis and husband, Robert, of Natchez and Lillie Lewis of St. Joseph; brothers, Thomas Lewis and wife, Pearl, Dave Lewis Jr. and wife, Rose, all of New Orleans, Jimmy Lewis and wife, Katie, of Baton Rouge; sisters, Lillie Taylor and Rosie Lewis, both of Louisville, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three aunts.
