Anderson graduates from UM law school

OXFORD — Lewis Conrad Anderson IV recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law.

Anderson is also a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in business administration.

The Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association also recognized Anderson for his role in reactivating the student chapter, where he served as President.

While attending the law school, he participated in various moot-court competitions and was a member of the 2007 National Trial Competition team.

As an undergraduate of the university, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Golden Key International Honour Society and secretary of Pi Sigma Alpha, a policical science honor fraternity.

Anderson is a 1999 honor graduate of Cathedral High School where he was involved with various honor groups and associations.

Anderson has accepted a position with the law firm of Balch and Bingham, LLP in Birmingham, Ala. Anderson also attends St. Mary Basilica and is a member of Knights of Columbus.

Anderson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Anderson Jr. of Natchez and the grandson of Audrey Merritt and the late Roy Merritt and the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Anderson, Sr. all of Natchez.
