NATCHEZ — Country Music Award winner John Anderson will be performing a show at the Natchez City Auditorium 9 p.m. Saturday. His performance will include many of his No. 1 and Top 10 hits like “Swingin’” and “Straight Tequila Night.”

Anderson’s first albums came out in the early 1980s, and he has issued roughly 30 albums, according to the Web site www.johnanderson.com.

The CMA honored Anderson with its Horizon Award in 1983, and 10 years later, the Academy of Country Music acknowledged his contributions by presenting him its rarely conferred Career Achievement Award.

After Saturday’s concert, Anderson is scheduled to perform in Taylor, Mich., Amite, La. and Harker Heights, Texas.
