N.O. police search for missing Woodville man

WOODVILLE — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a missing native of Woodville.

Joel Williams, 23, was reported missing Saturday. Williams was working in New Orleans and living at 11514 Willow St.

According to a statement from the NOPD, Williams had not contacted family members in more than five days.

Williams missed work on Monday and Tuesday and has not answered his cell phone since Saturday evening. Family members said it is not like Williams to be away from home without contacting them, according to the statement.

Williams, a 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 185 pounds, was last seen Saturday evening around 8 p.m. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants riding a white Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle with red flames.

Williams is the son of Gloria and Dave Williams of Woodville and is a graduate of Wilkinson County High School.
