JONESVILLE — Services for Lottie Elaine Walker, 77, of Jonesville, who died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville, will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007, at Utility Baptist Church, with the Rev. James Foster and the Rev. Mack Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Jonesville under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Jonesville.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Utility Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walker was born July 7, 1929, in New Era, La., the daughter of William and Josephine Kimball Bryan. She was a resident of Jonesville and a member of Utility Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Neal Walker; her parents; her brothers Willie Bryan Jr., Ernest Bryan and Wilford Bryan; and her sisters Gladys Wiley, Margie Hamilton and Inez Swayze.
Survivors include husband E.W. Walker of Jonesville; daughter Lana Taunton of Jonesville; grandsons John Logan Taunton of Birmingham, Ala., Micah and wife Brandi Taunton of Jonesville and Rod William Walker of Houston; granddaughter Carla and husband Tracy Howard of Jena; great-grandsons Maddox Taunton and Zander Taunton; great-granddaughters Shelbi Webb and Bailey Howard; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Utility Baptist Church.
