STAR CITY, Ark. — Services for George Thomas McNeil, 67, of Star City, will be 10 a.m. today at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Hagood officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, near Star City, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Service, Star City, Ark.
Mr. McNeil was born Oct. 27, 1939, in Natchez, the son of John Clay McNeil Sr. and Wilma Kimberlin McNeil. He was a retired safety coordinator for International Paper Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Southside Baptist Church, in Star City, and a 1957 graduate of Washington High School in Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John Clay McNeil Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Dean McNeil of Star City; sons, John C. McNeil of Pine Bluff, Ark., Robert Kimball of Star City and Michael McNeil of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Barbara Ogle of Pine Bluff and Crystal McNeil of Star City; brother, Henry Ralph McNeil of Cleveland; sisters, Barbara Ann Mingee of Natchez and Billie Sue Wilson of Pine Bluff; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Leroy McBryde, Charlie McCoy, Pete Bogy, James Griffin, James Paty, William Townsend, Kenneth Cheshire and Bobby Journigan.
