NATCHEZ — Services for Bill Delaughter, 82, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be 10 a.m. today from Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ray Holland officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Delaughter was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Brookhaven, the son of Ferdinand B. and Eunice Graves Delaughter.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; a brother, Leroy Delaughter; and sisters, Bessie Rollins and Sara Bardwell.

Survivors include his wife, Margie; sons, Billy D. Delaughter and wife, Patsy, Johnny Delaughter and wife, Tina, and Gary Delaughter, all of Natchez; daughters, Janis Norris and husband, Carl, of Natchez, and Elaine Green and husband, Clarence, of Alabama; grandchildren, Mark Norris, Kevin Delaughter, Johnny Delaughter Jr., Tinia Grantham, Elizabeth Collier, Christine Delaughter, Jennifer Delaughter, Danyelle Kilgore and Angel Netterville; great-grandchildren, Patrick Delaughter, Mark Norris Jr., E.J. Grantham, Bridgette and Marilyn Delaughter, Taylor and Ashley Grantham, Tiffany Norris and Grace Marie Murphey; sisters, Mary Alice Bardwell, Christine Smith, Erma Nell Beeson and Annie Belle Carter.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and friends of the family.
