NATCHEZ — Sue Hicks has joined the staff of The Natchez Democrat as classified ad manager.

Hicks recently moved to the Lake St. John area in Ferriday from Jackson, where she was working as a senior marketing executive for the Mississippi Press Association.

Hicks worked for MPA for six and a half years, and has 14 years experience as advertising manager at The Carthaginian, in Carthage.

She is a native of Carthage.

Hicks is married to Doug Hicks, a sales manager at Natchez Ford, and has two adult children in the Memphis area and three grandchildren.

She enjoys lake living, boating and spending time with her horses.
