VIDALIA — Led by Trey Corbett’s 4-for-4 performance at the plate and a solid pitching performance from Will Thomas, the Miss-Lou Babe Ruth All-Stars defeated St. Charles 16-0 in five innings Sunday morning at the Vidalia Dixie Youth Fields.

With the win, the Miss-Lou Babe Ruth All-Stars defeated St. Charles two games to none to claim the Babe Ruth 18-and-under State Championship.

Corbett had a double among his four hits. Eric Perry went 2-for-2 and Parker Brumfield was 2-for-3. Thomas pitched five shutout innings in picking up the win.

Miss-Lou defeated St. Charles Saturday 9-3 to advance to Sunday’s finals.
