JONESVILLE — Services for Sammie J. Armand, 31, of Jonesville, who died Friday, July 31, 2007, at his residence, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Church, in Jonesville, with the Bro. Jack Knapp, the Revs. Toney Ganey and Lester Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Jonesville.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the church.

Mr. Armand was born Sept. 17, 1975, in Houma, the son of Marilyn Armand Porett and Joe McKnight.

Survivors include his wife, Hope Armand, of Jonesville; his mother, Marilyn Armand Porett of Cottonport of Cottonport, La.; his father, Joe McKnight of Dickson, Texas; maternal grandparents, James and Ruth Wilson of Cottonport; mother-in-law, Deborah Nichols Renda of Harrisonburg; grandmother-in-law, Iola “Peppie” Nichols of Jonesville; aunts, Mary Helen Kennedy of Denham Springs, Eva Claire of Luling, La. and Barbara Redman of Bunkie; uncles, Perry Armand of Cottonport and James Armand of New Orleans; sisters-in-law, Marie Ourso of Sicily Island, Heather Kelly and husband, Sean, and Shanna Sutton and husband, Dee, all of Farmerville; brother, Roy Rowley Jr. of Harvey; nephews, Devin Oubre, Dalton Kelly, Dylan Finley, Camden Sutton and Zach Kelly; numerous family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Spinks, Freddie Michot, Wayne Prince Jr., Sean Kelly, Dee Sutton and James Welch.
