Softball teams pull all-nighter for Kossum

VIDALIA — An all night softball marathon is taking place at the Vidalia High Girls Softball Field. The marathon tournament is a benefit to help burn victim Drew Kossum.

“Drew has a long recovery and his family needs the help to be with him,” organizer Kathey Warren said.

Kossum is currently in the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta Ga.

All entry fees and donations go straight to an account for Kossum.

Fourteen teams signed up and started playing at 7:30 p.m. Friday. They played all night and will have their championship game at 8:30 p.m. today.
