Blood drive scheduled for 7-year-old Dungan

VIDALIA — A blood drive will be hosted Thursday for a local boy who needs heart surgery.
The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office will host the replenishment blood drive from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Concordia Parish Community Center, 26358 Louisiana 15, in Ferriday.
The drive will benefit Vidalia resident 7-year-old Austin Dungan who will be having open-heart surgery Aug. 7 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
