NATCHEZ — This has been an absolutely spectacular year for the LaPetite Angels 8-under girls slow pitch softball team.

They placed fifth out of 28 teams under the Pinto division in the Pony National Tournament on July 11- 14, in Slidell, La.

The Angels played eight games during the course of the tournament.

They have played in five other tournaments in Mississippi and Louisiana this summer.

If it wasn’t for the hard work and support of the players and parents they wouldn’t have had such a successful year.
