VIDALIA — Area bikers will have a chance to make a difference while having fun Aug. 4.

A poker run, put on by Mikey and Sandy Straczuk, will be hosted to pay for medical expenses for Mike and Betty Straczuk that day.

The run will begin at 1 p.m. at the Vidalia Riverfront Amphitheatre. Riders can pick up their cards in order at the Steel Horse Saloon, Cheech’s, Under-the-Hill Saloon, The Stockyard and the Vidalia Riverfront Amphitheatre.

A benefit, which will include an auction, raffle and games will begin immediately after the poker run at 5 p.m.

Entertainment at the benefit will include karaoke and DJ Nate-Dog.

Plates will cost $5, and can be bought in advance.

For poker run riders, entrance fees will be $10 for single riders and $15 for couples.
