Less than two weeks remain before the Aug. 7 election. I am a registered voter with a strong opinion on one of the candidates in the justice court judges’ — northern district race.

Audrey Minor Bailey is the best candidate for this position. She has served, working diligently within the justice court system for over 10 years. It is very important that these particular positions within our judicial system are held by judges who are fair, honest and reliable, with our best interests at heart.

Experience and efficiency are important attributes that stand out when thinking of the best person for the job. It doesn’t matter where a candidate sits in the courtroom presently; their ability to perform the job is what truly matters.

I feel Ms. Bailey exudes her abilities of organization, knowledge of the judicial system and its laws, reliability and consideration each day she steps into the Adams County Justice Court.
