NATCHEZ — A Natchez man died when he was thrown from his motorcycle early Sunday morning, according to Natchez Police reports.
The incident was reported at 12:16 a.m. Sunday.
Clyde “Mack” Bryant, 55, 160 St. Catherine St., was riding his 2006 Honda RS600 north on Lower Woodville Road, Natchez Police Officer Kimberly Allen said, reading from a report.
“The vehicle approached a curve near Abundant Life Church,” Allen said. “The vehicle lost control and went off the road to the right. He came in contact with a sign, then struck a tree.”
It appeared that Bryant, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene, she said.
He was transported to Natchez Regional Medical Center by American Medical Response, she said.
Bryant was the owner and operator of Clyde’s Car Wash and Detail and a member of the Clayton Pentecostal Church in Clayton.
Funeral services will be at Clayton Pentecostal Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
