HATTIESBURG — Ocean Springs’s T.M. Jennings 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars got three home runs to defeat Natchez 17-6 Sunday afternoon.

Ocean Springs won the best-of-three series two games to one to win the state championship.

“Today we had a couple of errors. We hit the ball, but the pitching wasn’t there,” Natchez head coach Johnny Williams said. “They hit the ball well. They’ve got a good offense. They deserve it. They earned it today.”
