NATCHEZ – Two cars were reportedly burned in an act of arson Sunday night.

Police responded to a 9:46 p.m. call from Dumas Drive advising two cars — a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer and a Chevrolet Caprice — in front of the victim’s home had been partially burned, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Police recovered some physical evidence from the scene and expect to have an arrest warrant issued by Monday evening, Mullins said.
