NATCHEZ — A Natchez man is wanted after allegedly starting fires that partially burned two vehicles Sunday night.

A warrant for the arrest of Frederick Hauer, 18, 15 Brentwood Lane, was issued Monday afternoon, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.

Natchez police responded to a call at 9:46 p.m. that two cars parked in front of the victim’s Dumas Drive house had been burned.

The vehicles were a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer and a Chevrolet Caprice, Mullins said.

Physical evidence was recovered from the scene of the fires, and police discovered an accelerant had been poured on the vehicles to fuel the fire, Mullins said.
