Support Natchez High football team

As the summer season of lazy days ends people across the country are gearing up for this year’s football season.
At Natchez High you won’t have to wait long because the first game of the season kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, as we gear up with our jamboree. The officers and members of the Natchez Touchdown Club would like to invite the parents and supporters of Natchez High School’s football team to become members of the booster club.
We are engaged in some exciting plans for this year’s football team and we need your support. Through various fundraisers, the group offers financial assistance that helps to meet the needs of the team and coaches in areas that are not totally funded through the school’s athletic system.
It is my belief that players become more effective citizens through their involvement in organized sports.
Participation in any sport, whether it’s high school football or peewee football, can teach our kids to stretch their limits and learn sportsmanship and discipline. Make a positive difference in your child’s football experience by becoming a member of the booster club.
Your volunteer efforts and financial support are vital in the success of Natchez High School Football. If you are interested in becoming a member please join us for a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the David Steckler Multi-Purpose Center. You will have an opportunity to meet the officers, coaches and other members of the football booster club. While you’re there, officers will be on hand to answer questions about the club and discuss in detail our goals and plans for this year. There will be door prizes.
