TEN YEARS AGO — Christina Walker hits a triple and scores the winning run when Bobbye Miller hits a single as the Natchez High Lady Bulldogs, led by Walker and Kelly Fuller’s 3-for-3 performances, rally to defeat the Amite County Lady Trojans 7-6.
FIVE YEARS AGO — Former Mississippi State quarterback John Bond, who ranks second all-time in total offense at MSU with 6,901 yards (2,280 yards rushing and 4,621 yards passing), is named the new quarterbacks coach of the Millsaps College Majors.
